{Foodee} Strawberry Sweetums

Have a strawberry cake mix that just called out to you from the pantry? Thinking about a quick lil sweetie you can whip up for V-Day {or on another Snow Day if you're from my neck of the woods}?

Welp. Bust her out and head to the kitchen! Grab some white choco chips 'cause you're about to be smitten! {Sad attempt at a rhyme this morning. Please forgive.}

I've seen this recipe gem online, and friends have also said they make a version of this, too. Very fun! Here's the one we use...a fusion of a few. Tell me about yours!

{Strawberry Sweetums}

1 box Strawb cake mix
1t baking powder
2 eggs
1/3 c veg oil
1T vanilla
1.5 c white choco chips
Optional ~ V-Day M&Ms

Hi. I taste like strawberry ice cream.

Combine all ingredients {except the choco...and optional M&Ms} in a mixer on low. Swirl in the choco by spatula afterward. Bake at 350 for 11 minutes. Check the centers with a toothpick to make sure the centers are done. Bake a few extra minutes, if needed. {Make sure those bottoms don't brown!}

{Wilton Silicone Baking Mat}

This one.

The wonderful Wilton 'peeps sell a silicone baking mat, and it has been a game changer since we bought one. Cookies literally SLIDE off the sheet when ready. Things seem to cook more evenly, as well. So! Give this mat a test drive. I've bought a few from the kitchen section at TJ Maxx/Home Goods, too. Same prices - same results.

Enjoy, ya cutie CoCo-nuts!
